The motivating power of love

Once upon a time, there was a grandpa who really loved his little ones. The little ones loved to dress up, to pretend, to decorate. What happens when two things like that come together? See the photo. Not the finest pedicure in the world - and for the grandpa, definitely not anything he ever dreamed of doing on his own. But seeing the photo brings back as much joy for the grandpa as the original experience, as he remembers the giggles of delight that this experience caused for those little sweeties.
It's a known fact that people will do crazy things in the name of love! Young people pull silly or risky stunts to try to impress someone they have a crush on. Devoted partners are willing to make great accommodations to please one another. A person will sacrifice time and energy for a cause he or she is devoted to. Ultimately, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Parents would do almost anything within reason (and sometimes beyond) for their child's comfort, opportunity, or advantage. Grandparents feel the same desires.
I #GiveThanks for the motivating power of love.
And BTW, once upon a time, they all lived happily ever after. 😉
